I purchased your 12x18 vacuum forming machine a while back, and I love it. It is so easy to use and produces great results. I form R/C car bodies and various other parts for my customers. WidgetWorks has a great turnkey plotter pen setup. I have actually done construction drawings for my kitchen with this tool. If you count your time trying to get a homemade solution going plus multiple trips to the hardware store and gas I consider it a bargain. The WidgetWorks vinyl knife is also inexpensive compared to what I would spend on parts and R&D to make my own - not to mention time.

I just received my new vinyl cutter today and we are impressed! It works great and solved our problem perfectly! The accuracy is amazing even without drag knife compensation. Here is a picture of the first part I cut from electroluminescent material. This material is 0.010” thick and is made up of plastic and an aluminum foil. Thanks for a great product!

Had a moment to experiment with the 12x12 hobby vacuum former... Being honest here: I'm reasonably handy with tools and have been meaning to build one myself forever, but a sudden deadline changed priorities from "save a few bucks" to "OMG need this NOW!" So glad I ordered from you guys! The unit is built like a tank - much, MUCH better than I was expecting. Got four perfectly good pulls on the first try (and first time doing any vacuum forming). Had I tried building this, I'd still be cutting lumber and swearing a lot. Thanks for an awesome product. Now I'm ogling the larger models...
