Improve the quality and detail of your parts while vacuum forming plastic up to 1/4" thick! Our High-Pressure Hand Pump Accessory makes it easy to add 2-stage vacuum power to our hobby vacuum formers. Just plug the auto-switching valve between the vacuum former and your Shop-Vac to start forming with 5x's more vacuum pressure.
How Does It Work?
Stage 1: "Low pressure/high airflow" vacuum is supplied by your Shop-Vac, which quickly removes most of the air, pulling the plastic down around your mold. When Stage 1 vacuum maxes out, the auto-switching valve kicks in with stage 2 vacuum to provide extra forming oomph!
Stage 2: "High pressure/low airflow" vacuum takes over as the hand pump evacuates the remaining air. Forming pressure ratchets up 500% higher than a Shop-Vac normally supplies, forcing the plastic around tight bends and into deep draws, while maximizing part detail.
